THE
WIRE IS 20
30 October 2002 |
|
The November issue of The Wire comes with a double edition
of the latest in their seminal Tapper series,
which includes Liars, Themselves, Tarwater, Sigur Ros,
Supersilent, Suicide, Sagan, Max Tundra, Sonic Youth and
many more. Exceptionally, this CD comes with every copy
of the magazine. With the November issue, The Wire celebrates
20 years at the forefront of contemporary music. Started
in a bedroom during the summer of 1982, the magazine struggled
for years to maintain its editorial line only to find
itself at the heart of modern culture in the 90s. Happy
Birthday guys! |
