COPPE' ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUMS
AND MINI TOUR DETAILS

Our favourite Japanese songstress, Coppe’,
has announced details of two new albums to be released
soon released on her Mango & Sweet Rice label. The
first to be made available, Nauru, was produced
by Nico and Terry D., and features collaborations with
Plaid, Ryan
Breen, Eiji. The second, Ubik, is a collabotation
between Coppe’,
Chris Douglas and Dr. Jacobson. To support these releases,
Coppe’
& Friends will embark on a mini tour of the US West
Coast, with dates in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Phoenix.

NEW GIMMIK ALBUM ON TOYTRONIC

Two and a half years after his first album as Gimmik,
Austiran musician Martin Haidinger returns with a new
album on London-based Toytronic Records. Follow up to
Slow Motion Process and Links Berge Rechts
Seens, released with Chris Cunningham as Abfahrt
Hinwil, Back To Basics features eleven new tracks,
and is set to be released on CD, LP and limited edition

REPHLEX TOUR WITH LOGARHYTHM

Logarhythm and Rephlex have announced details or their
forthcoming tour dates. Fourth major tour this year for
Logarhythm, the organisation, which aims at helping young
artists in the fields of electronic music and visual arts,
teams up with legendary Braindance label Rephlex, founded
some twelve years ago by Grant Wilson Claridge and Richard
D. James. To celebrate, Rephlex will be releasing a nineteen
track compilation, Rephlexions – A Compilation
Of Braindance, on 17 November. The tour will coincide
with this event and will feature live performance from
Bogdan Raczynski
and Astrobotnia,
plus guest DJs to be confirmed. Dates as follow: Cardiff
(1/11), Reading (2/11), Manchester (3/11), Leeds (4/11),
Newcastle (5/11), Glasgow (6/11), Edinburgh (7/11), Birmingham
(8/11), Nottingham (9/11), London (11/11), Norwich (12/11),
Bristol (13/11), Cambridge (14/11) and Leicester (15/11).
Rephlexions – A Compilation Of Braindance
will be officially launched during the London show, with
special guests The Bug, Soundmurderer, Cylob

KIM HIORTHØY ARTWORK
EXHIBITION + RUNE GRAMMOFON ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY

Mutli-disciplined Norwegian artist Kim Hiorthøy
will exhibit some of his artwork at London’s Deluxe
Gallery in London on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 October,
to celebrate the release of Money Will Ruin Everything,
a new compilation double CD and book released by Rune
Grammofon. Best known as the in-house graphic designer
for Oslo-based Rune Grammofon, Kim is also a well-respected
film and video maker, photograph and musician. The exhibition
will feature 10 of his designs, especially reworked for
the event, for Rune Grammofon. They will be displayed
on 60cmX60cm laminated aluminium. A collection of many
of the album sleeves in their original form will also
be displayed. The gallery will also host the launch party
for Money Will Ruin Everything on Friday 24 October,
with live sets from Phonophani, Maja
Ratke and new signing Susana & The Magical Orchestra,
plus a DJ set by Kim Hiorthøy. For more information,

STEREOLAB NEW ALBUM

Stereolab
have announced details of their forthcoming new ablum,
Margerine Eclipse, due out on Duophonic UHF on
January 27 January 2004. This twelfth album studio album,
the first since the tragic death of guitarist and singer
Mary Hansen last year, follows the recent Instant
0 In The Universe EP. The band recently published
the full track listing for the album. Margerine Eclipse
will feature twelve tracks, as follow: Vonal Déclosion,
Need To Be, "...Sudden Stars",
Cosmic Country Noir, La Demeure, Margerine
Rock, The Man With 100 Cells, Margerine
Melodie, Hillbilly Motobike, Feel &
