NEW ALBUM FROM MARK CLIFFORD AND SIMON KAOLOHA

Mark Clifford & Simon Kaoloha: Running Taper Former Seefeel man and Disjecta mastermind Mark Clifford is releasing a new album, Running Taper, recorded with Simon Kaoloha, of Calika. The album, due out on 7 November on Clifford’s Polyfusia imprint, was recorded during live and studio sessions earlier this year. Clifford and Kaoloha will also be playing live with E-da (Boredoms) as CEK, their latest project, on Friday 4 November at Electrowerks II, London, as part of the Overkill night, with V/Vm, Charlottesfield and Mistress. CARIBOU DVD TO BE RELEASED
26 october 2005
Dan Snaith The Leaf Label will be releasing Marino, a DVD collecting all the videos created by Dublin-based animators Delicious 9 featured during live performances by Caribou over the last couple of years. The DVD features sixteen tracks taken from Caribou’s last two albums, Up In Flames and The Milk Of Human Kindness. The DVD, due out on 1 November, will come with an exclusive EP containing four previously unreleased tracks. Check the Caribou website for further details.

COCOROSIE SPECIAL UK LIVE DATES

CocoRosie Following on from their wonderful sophomore album, Noah’s Ark, released earlier this year, CocoRosie’s Sierra and Bianca Cassady will be back in the UK and Ireland for four live dates in December, as follow: London (1/12) with Bats For Lashes, Glasgow (2/12), Dublin (3/12 and Camber Sands for All Tomorrow’s Parties (4/12).

4AD RELEASE COMPLETE COCTEAU TWINS EP BOX SET

Cocteau Twins: Lullabies To Violaine - Singles & Extended Plays 1982 – 1996 4AD is celebrating its 25th anniversary this November, and, as part of the celebrations, will release a limited edition four CD box set featuring the entire Cocteau Twins singles. Lullabies To Violaine - Singles & Extended Plays 1982 – 1996 will originally be released as a deluxe box set with exclusive V23 visuals, on 21 November. 4AD and Mercury/Capitol will release these four CDs as two double CDs, with volume one comprising the 4AD years (1982-1990), while volume 2 will focus on the Mercury/Capitol years (1993-1996). Both volumes will be released in early 2006. The 4AD tracks were previously released as a box set, but the Mercury/Capitol releases have never been anthologised before. NEW COMPILATION FROM KIRK DEGIORGIO'S ART LABEL

Kirk Degiorgio Electronica legend Kirk Degiorgio’s record label, Applied Rhythmic Technology (ART), has teamed up with New Religion to release The Electric Institue, a compilation of classic electronic music featuring tracks from Balil, Degiorgio’s As One and Blue Binary, Carl Craig as 69, Neuropolitique, Stacey Pullen and many more. The compilation, due out on 24 October, features new and rare tracks from the ART vault.
