For Girls, described as the world’s first all-female

NEW CHRIST. EP AND ALBUM ON BENBECULA

Details have been announced about Christ.’s forthcoming album and limited edition twelve inch EP, both due out on Benbecula. The album, Blue Shift Emissions, the follow-up to Christ.’s brilliant 2003 album Metamorphic Reproduction Miracle and 2005 EP Seeing & Doing, is due out late summer 2006 and will be preceded by a special limited twelve inch EP entitled Vernor Vinge, released on 3 April. NEW ISAN SINGLE AND LIVE DATE ANNOUNCED

Isan have announced details of a new 7” single to be released on Morr Music. The single, a cover version of Erik Satie’s Trois Gymnopedies, will be the first new material from Robin Saville and Antony Ryan since their 2004 album Meet Next Life. The single will be released on 3 April and will be followed by an as-yet untitled new album. No date has been announced for the album. The band will also play live at the Loom Festival in Nottingham on Sunday 26 February alongside Ceephax Acid Crew, Geiom, Max Tundra and many more. THE ORB, BOOM BIP, DNTEL AND JOHN TEJADA LIVE IN LOS ANGELES

Los Angeles’s Walt Disney Concert Hall will play host to a dazzling event on Saturday 18 March, with live performances from The Orb, Dntel, John Tejada and Boom Bip. This concert, the opening event of the Phils Minimalist Jukebox, a three-week festival curated by composer John Adams, will kick off at 11.59pm on Saturday 18 March and will go on until 6am the next morning. While The Orb are set to play the main auditorium, Boom Bip, Dntel and John Tejada, plus visual artists yet to be confirmed, will perform in surrounding spaces at various times. Chris
Clark will be touring the UK this February and March
with 65daysofstatic, and will be releasing an exclusive
3inch CD 5-track EP of brand new tracks to coincide with
the tour. The EP, entitled Throttle Furniture,
features one track, Herr Barr, taken from Clark’s
third album, due out later this year. The four other tracks
are exclusive to this limited edition release. The EP,
his first new material since 2003's Empty
