Although released a year apart from each other, these
three albums are indissociable. The Pole trilogy is
one mysterious, enigmatic electronic production. 1,
2 and 3 are part of a same methodical
exploration of sounds, variations around the same noises
and clicks, a thorough examination of the impact of
a same scenery put in different contexts. The use of
dub for instance, gives a depth to the otherwise arid
compositions. No track stands out, but none lets down
even by the slightest either. Of a definitely, almost
voluntarily, difficult access, this trilogy is more
important than it appears at first.
