The legendary Tim Simenon will release his first new album in thirteen years. Simenon gained fame twenty years ago with the seminal sampledelic Beat Dis, and went on to release three albums and countless EPs and brought dance music and hip-hop close. Since, Simemon has produced, remixed or collaborated with a wide range of artists, ranging from Neneh Cherry, Massive Attack and Björk to Depeche Mode and Naomi Campbell.
The new Bomb The Bass album, Future Chaos, due out on 15 September on K7, features a host of vocal contributors, from Jon Spencer, Red Snapper’s Richard Thair, Jake Williams, and Screaming Trees’ Mark Lanegan to David Best, of Brighton Krautrockers Fujiya & Miyagi and Paul Conboy of A.P.E.
